Not a set of hairstyles — a way of thinking

Most courses hand you diagrams to copy. This one teaches you to decide: which shape this person needs, why this technique holds on this hair, and what the client is really asking for.

Architecture

How the course is built

Three stages that build on each other — and one thread running through all of them.

1

Foundations and mindset

Your values, your vision, your honest starting point. Where you are as a stylist and where you are going.

2

Technique and visual literacy

Hairstyling paired with training your eye — so you can see a shape before your hands make it.

3

Psychology and communication

Working with the desires and the fears the client brings into the chair.

Promotion runs through the whole course

We do not leave self-promotion until the end. Social-media assignments come with the lessons:

  • photograph your work
  • build your portfolio on Instagram
  • learn to present yourself as a professional
  • gradually develop your own visual language
Course architecture: three stages and continuous promotion

Part one

A strong theoretical foundation

Before the hands, the head. Four blocks that decide how you will work for years.

01

Foundation and mindset

The base every later decision rests on: how a hairstyle holds, what makes a shape read as expensive, and how to stop guessing and start choosing.

02

The stylist within

Discovering your values, your emotions and your own vision. Finding your direction honestly — including the doubts, which turn out to be a sign of growth rather than weakness.

A stylist’s strength often lies in vulnerability. Being able to honestly acknowledge your doubts is a tremendous strength.

03

Hair history through inspiration and reinterpretation

We study history not to decide what is outdated, but to widen our references, train our eye, and give ourselves more freedom to create.

04

Styling and hair types

Porosity, density, texture, condition. Which product does what, which technique a given hair will actually hold, and how to correct the base before you shape anything.

Part two

Client psychology and the art of understanding the request

The request a client speaks out loud and the result they are hoping for are rarely the same thing.

Identifying the real desire behind the request

Managing your own emotions during the appointment

Communicating so the client feels heard, not corrected

Following a clear technical workflow from reference to result

Eight kinds of desire a client walks in with

Part three

More than 30 mini tutorials

Every step of a hairstyle, taken apart.

Crown sectioning, bobby pin placement, curling with the release technique, blow-drying the roots, air backcombing, attaching extensions for curls. Short, focused videos you return to mid-appointment rather than watch once.

Each technique is a short video you can mark as practised

Part four

18 practical lessons

The core challenges a professional stylist actually faces. This is not a collection of hairstyle diagrams and step-by-step instructions.

We learn how to create hairstyles for different people, occasions and hair types — while understanding why a particular technique works in each situation.

01

Classic

Timeless shapes and essential foundations.

02

Modern

Contemporary shapes, textures and interpretations.

03

Advanced

More complex techniques and professional solutions.

A full lesson with video and a written breakdown
Every lesson: a full-length video plus a written breakdown

Each lesson is not about “how to recreate this hairstyle”, but about how to think as a stylist — how to adapt your technique to the client, their hair, their request and the situation.

The result is not a collection of 18 hairstyles, but a system you can apply to dozens of other styling challenges.

Practice

We don’t just learn techniques — we train ourselves to use them

We practise by solving real client scenarios, develop visual literacy through interactive games, and learn to read and analyse client reference photos.

Homework you actually answer

Not quizzes. Written assignments about your own direction, your clients and your doubts — sent back to Irina and discussed.

The reference-reading game: choosing techniques from a photo

A game for reading references

A client shows you a photo. Which techniques actually built that hairstyle? Pick them, check yourself, and train the eye that turns a reference into a plan.
